Annual Golf Tournament

The Moore Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament, held in May, is our annual membership golf tournament hosted at one of our member golf clubs, Belmar Golf Club. So you can see, there is something for all on the course or during the awards luncheon to participate in.

Eggs & Issues

The Moore Chamber holds six Legislative breakfasts each year. During which they inform the membership about local, county, state, and federal issues that may have an impact on the community or their business.

Day at the Capitol

A delegation of Chamber members travel to Oklahoma City to meet with legislative leaders. Participants will also view House and Senate sessions and take a tour of the State Capitol, followed by a keynote, individual session presenters. Immediately following the close of presenters, a reception is held for our group and legislators. Space will be limited.

General Membership Luncheons

The Moore Chamber presents six General Membership Luncheons each year that provide informative presentations and expert speakers on topics of significance and trends in the business community.

Open Topic - (February & April)

The first two luncheons of the year are general topics which have included presentations from Gary England and David Payne, both Chief Meteorologists with KWTV, Representatives from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kari Watkins with the Oklahoma City Memorial, and many more exciting speakers. Each year there is something new and exciting presented at these events.

Military Appreciation - (May)

This luncheon celebrates outstanding active duty and retired military personnel. Join us to honor our men and women in uniform at this luncheon. National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM) is celebrated every May and is a declaration that encourages U.S. citizens to observe the month as a symbol of unity. NMAM honors the current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who have died in the pursuit of freedom.  The month of May is characterized by six national observances which highlight the contributions of those who have served.

Legislative Summit - (June)

A panel of Oklahoma Legislators from both House and Senate, representing the Moore Public Schools district, will discuss issues that affect local businesses from the past legislative session. This annual event offers the perfect opportunity for Chamber members to meet area legislators and have a voice on the issues impacting the business community.

State of the City - (July)

Each summer, the Chamber hosts a luncheon that gives the current leadership of the City of Moore the opportunity to highlight the City’s accomplishments and goals for the upcoming year. The event offers the opportunity to stay informed and learn about relevant issues in Moore, as well as have lunch with Moore’s elected officials and others in the business community.

State of the Schools - (October)

Leaders from Moore Public Schools, Randall University, Moore Norman Technology Center, Mid America Christian University, and Oklahoma City Community College discuss the accomplishments of the past year and what's in their pipelines.
