Stand Out in a Crowd and Make a Difference

Want the chance to participate in the community? Then come get involved in your Chamber and become an active member of one of our outstanding and important Community development committees. You'll be glad you did and who knows you just might make our community a better place to live and do business!

Business Development Committee

Create an atmosphere for business development that encourages, supports and expedites the creation of new and expansion of existing businesses.

Education Services Committee

Work with the Moore Foundation for Academic Excellence, PTA Council, Danforth Committee and other groups to assist in furthering educational opportunities for Moore students. Continue the Moore Excellence in Education Celebration to recognize outstanding students, teachers and patrons.

Continue the Outstanding Achievement in Education award program to honor individuals, groups, businesses or programs that have made significant contributions to education and the Moore School System.

Government Affairs Committee

Review and inform Chamber members about business-related issues pending before all governmental bodies. Hold Legislative forums / receptions as needed to provide the opportunity for citizens to visit with and ask questions of their elected officials.

Serve as liaison between the Chamber and representatives of all levels of government -- federal, state and local. Conduct candidate forums as needed to allow voters to hear the views of those seeking election to public office.
