Moore Chamber of Commerce
It is with an overwhelming sense of pride that I move into the role of Moore Chamber Chairman of the Board. I am both honored and privileged to assist in advancing our already successful business climate. Established in 1946, the Moore Chamber has always had a great sense of community, and a strong commitment to the future of Moore, Oklahoma. Being an active member of the Moore Chamber has allowed me to help promote community pride, communication, and commerce; all of which are important to our remarkable community. With the Chamber’s rich history of connecting businesses, promoting growth and prosperity, I have every confidence 2016 will prove to be yet another successful year.
I invite you to take a moment to look around our wonderful city as we are blessed with excellence in so many ways. You can certainly see remnants of challenges our community has faced; but more prominent is our advancement in growth and our budding economy. You will you see that new business opportunities, new housing, new parks, new schools, and the expansion of existing schools are all part of our immediate future. Moore has the unique distinction of enjoying many options normally seen in larger cities, but still maintaining that small town flair.
Moore is so fortunate to have excellent leadership in our city, our schools, and in our diverse business community; but also an incredible Chamber so dedicated to fostering relationships within these areas.

About the Chamber
The Moore Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization whose mission is to promote and facilitate the growth of the business community for our members and stakeholders. Established in 1946, the Chamber has served as the voice of the Moore business community for over 60 years and stands ready to serve an ever-growing community. An investment in the Chamber is beneficial in many ways – both directly and indirectly.
The Chamber provides a unified voice in governmental affairs on local, state and national levels. We follow issues that could affect businesses, and encourage our elected officials to support those that would have a positive impact and oppose those that would be detrimental to the business community.
The Chamber works closely with the City of Moore in its efforts to assist existing businesses and to attract new ones. This provides our citizens with the convenience of finding products and services locally, and at the same time increase sales tax revenue that allows the city to provide improved services. Community pride is beneficial to businesses. Consumers have a positive attitude when they look around and see an attractive, well-maintained store or office facility.
Realizing the importance of our youth to the city’s future, the Chamber is a strong advocate of education. The Chamber annually gives recognition to outstanding students, teachers and patrons.
An important benefit of membership is networking with other area business people. Membership luncheons, Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, ribbon cuttings, and other functions provide opportunities to make new business contacts.
Referrals are a direct benefit of membership. The Chamber office receives calls daily about where to obtain particular products or services. We check our membership data, and when we have members who offer the requested product or service, those are the names provided.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and members of the Moore Chamber of Commerce, we
welcome you to our great city!
