A Letter From Our Chairman of the Board

Dear friends of the Moore Chamber of Commerce,

Thank you for your support of the Moore Chamber of Commerce.  Our success is driven by you, our loyal members, and our devoted Chamber staff and board.

The Moore Chamber legacy began in 1946 when community leaders saw the need and opportunity to work together so that all could benefit from economic and community development.  Now, 70+ years later, the City of Moore has changed dramatically and the Chamber has been right there leading the way.

As Moore continues to grow bigger, better and stronger, it is important we work and plan together developing shared goals and united leadership.  Therefore,
I invite you to be involved with the Chamber and its events.  Join us for Ribbon Cuttings, Networking Luncheons, Business Before/After Hours, Leadership Moore, the Annual Banquet or simply shop local.  Whatever your needs or interests, the Moore Chamber is ready to serve you.

I am honored to serve as the Chair for 2017 as we continue pursuing our mission of “
to promote and facilitate the growth of the business community for our members and stakeholders.”  We have an exciting year ahead, and I welcome your input. Together, we will make our community an even greater place to live, work, learn, play and to do business.

All the best,

Richie Splitt, FACHE

Moore Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board

It is with an overwhelming sense of pride that I move into the role of Moore Chamber Chairman of the Board. I am both honored and privileged to assist in advancing our already successful business climate. Established in 1946, the Moore Chamber has always had a great sense of community, and a strong commitment to the future of Moore, Oklahoma. Being an active member of the Moore Chamber has allowed me to help promote community pride, communication, and commerce; all of which are important to our remarkable community. With the Chamber’s rich history of connecting businesses, promoting growth and prosperity, I have every confidence 2016 will prove to be yet another successful year.

I invite you  to take a moment to look around our wonderful city as we are blessed with excellence in so  many ways. You can certainly see remnants of challenges our community has faced; but more prominent is our advancement in growth and our budding economy. You will you see that new business opportunities,  new housing, new parks, new schools, and the expansion of existing schools are all part of our immediate future. Moore has the unique distinction of enjoying many options normally seen in larger cities, but still maintaining that small town flair.

Moore is so fortunate to have excellent leadership in our city, our schools, and in our diverse business community; but also an incredible Chamber so dedicated to  fostering  relationships within these areas.

Jan Davis,
Chairman of the Board
Moore Chamber of Commerce
